Proposals on the structure and content of the combined operational plan for transport service of the FIFA 2018 World Cup in the Russian Federation

The results of this research work have become the basis for the creation of a comprehensive document on the organization of strategic and operational planning for transport, as well as the organization of passenger transportation by all modes of transport directly during the World Cup (WC) 2018 and related events including Confederations Cup (CC) 2017.
Completed tasks:
• use of the world experience in the development of operational transport planning documents for the World Cups;
• development of the model of behavior of the client groups of FIFA and fans in relation to the WC-2018 and CC-2017;
• development of the structure of the Joint Operational Plan for Transport Services for the 2018 World Cup and the 2017 CC and its content requirements;
• development of an integrated scheme of long-distance passenger transportation routes involved in servicing the 2018 World Cup and CC-2017;
• definition and justification of the functional requirements for the model of the transport system of the Russian Federation involved in the transport of the World Cup 2018 (long-distance and international transportation).
