Transport service concept for SmartCity-Novosibirsk and Skif (Novosibirsk agglomeration)

The object was the territory of the advanced development zone "Naukopolis", located on two sites "SmartCity-Novosibirsk" and "SKIF". The developed concept of transport service is fully included in the materials of the master plan of the advanced development zone "Naukopolis".
As part of the project, a comprehensive analysis of the possibilities of prospective transport service of the project area, based on the assessment of existing opportunities of territorial and transport system of the entire southern sector of the Novosibirsk agglomeration, the analysis of planned measerments at the federal, regional and municipal levels in terms of development of the street and road network, external and urban transport systems was carried out. The work includes assessment of the existing transport demand, calculation of prospective transport and passenger flows generated by the project area and analysis of the loading level of key sections and intersections of the street and road network. The project takes into account the experience of planning and development of similar territories of the Innopolises. Based on the studies and calculations, a roadmap for the development of transport infrastructure for the first phase - 2031, and for the full implementation of the project — 2041.
During the work, meetings and workshops were held with the expert community of Novosibirsk and the Novosibirsk region, and as a result, the decisions adopted in the project were agreed upon.
The master plan of the Smart-City territory development was recognized as one of the best in the "Regions of Russia" competition within the international architectural festival "Zodchestvo-2021" and was awarded the "Diploma of the Union of Architects of Russia" in the category "Development of territories and urban solutions".
