The object of urban planning is the territory of the residential area «Yugo-Zapadny» in the Sverdlovsk district of Krasnoyarsk.
The boundaries of the design are as follows: in the north — embankment r. Yenisei, in the east — embankment of the river Bazaikha, in the southeast — the territory of the railway and OJSC «Krasnoparma», in the south — steep slopes of the mountains, in the west — the territory of gardening. The area of the territory is approximately 200 hectares.

The following objects are located in the design area:
• elite cottage community English park with an area of 8 hectares;
• buildings of electrical substations;
• multi-apartment houses along the Sverdlovskaya street;
• railway station «Krasnoyarsk poles» of the railway line Yenisei — Divnogorsk;
• stopping point «Tourbaza». There is no track development, in winter electric trains pass the platform without stopping;
• furniture factory LLC «Grand Furniture»;
• disorganized industrial buildings and structures.

The project provides for the development of bus routes of the residential area «Yugo-Zapadny»:
1. Organization of bus traffic on the following streets of the planned planning area:
• Sudostroitelnaya st. — from the bridge through the river Bazaikha, by overpass over the railway tracks before connecting to the Sverdlovskaya st. on the local road;
• Sverdlovskaya st. — all the way to the boundaries of the design of the planning area;
• Yuzhnaya Naberezhnaya st. — on the section from the bridge through the river Bazaikha to the meridional st. M2;
• meridional st. M2 — on the site from the Yuzhnaya Naberezhnaya st. to Promyshlennaya st.;
• Industrial st. — on the site from the meridional st. M2 to the meridional st. M5;
• meridional st. M5 — on the site from Promyshlennaya st. to Lesoperevalochnaya st.;
• Promyshlennaya st. — all along the street.
2. Creation of the final point of bus transport on Lesoperevalochnaya st. The area of the final point for placing 13 units of vehicles (30% of the produced per line in the calculated morning hours) is 1950 square meters in accordance with the requirements of local standards for urban planning in Krasnoyarsk (150 square meters per one car place).
3. Arrangement of 15 stopping points in the planned streets of the planning area. The range of pedestrian approaches according to the project is 250 m (local standards for urban planning in Krasnoyarsk).

The calculation showed the need of accommodating 435 cars in guest parking and 5793 cars for permanent storage. The main part of the places for permanent storage is located in underground high-capacity parking lots (5149 cars) and in multi-level parking (495 parking places). The remaining cars (135) will be placed in open parking lots.
